Mike "Get out of jail free" Huckabee meet your Willie Horton moment
Yes Mike Huckabee, you have some explaining to do. You have 4 police officer’s families that you need to explain to, why you let a predicate felon out of a 95 year prison sentence in 2000. Ex-Arkansas Governor Huckabee has gone the Micheal Dukakis route and given violent felons a “get out of jail free” card.
In 1986, then Massachusetts Governor Micheal Dukakis supported a weekend furlough program for violent felons, Willie Horton was serving a life term for robbery and murder and was let out for the weekend to never return. Well Horton went to Maryland were he raped a woman multiple times, stabbed and gagged the woman’s boyfriend and stole their car, he was caught and sentenced to 2 life terms, plus 85 years in Maryland. The Willie Horton incident became a centerpiece of the 1998 presidential campaign.
This Brings us to, Ex-Arkansas Governor Mike “Get out of jail free” Huckabee, who granted clemency to the suspected cop killer in Washington State, Maurice Clemmons. Clemmons was serving 95 years in Arkansas for robbery, and multiple other violent felonies, nine felonies to be exact. He was granted clemency by Governor Huckabee in 2000. Huckabee cited Clemmons age as being the reason, Clemmons was 17 at the time of some of the crimes.
Today Huckabee, who should go into being a bail bondsmen or maybe a scumbag defense lawyer, said this:
“it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State,”
The only failure dummy, was you released a violent felon onto the street, he would have been in prison not Washington Sate, because you thought he deserved a second chance, will those 4 dead police officer’s get a second chance to see their family, will their families get a second chance to see them, no they will not, because you failed to do your job as Governor of Arkansas.

Not only are four LEO’s dead as a result but the victims in other crimes that he committed since being released from prison. For example the victim in his Rape of a Child Charge? What about her? There are 6 known victims that I am aware of to that turd that should have been rotting in prision in Arkansas
NWCop, Though all can not be blamed on Huckabee, he definitely has a lot of blame to carry on this. The judges in both Washington State and Arkansas have a lot to answer to as well.
I want to know what Judge would let a child rapist out of jail, when the recidivism and chance for re offense is so high?
