Keith Fimian, is in the money
Sounds like he is on a fund raising roll.
Keith Fimian Raises More Than $537,000 in 2009
Fairfax, VA — Keith Fimian, Republican candidate for Congress (VA-11) announced today that fourth quarter Federal Election Commission financial disclosure statements show his campaign has raised more than $250,000 in the 4th quarter of 2009 for a total of more than $537,000 for the year. Fimian has more than $472,000 cash-on-hand going into 2010.
“Voters across the 11th District, Virginia, and our nation are energized and investing in my campaign because they understand the career politicians in Congress simply do not have the ability to create jobs, rein in spending and revitalize our economy,” Fimian said. “I will bring a fresh perspective in addressing our nation’s economic woes. As an entrepreneur, I possess the real-world business experience necessary to enact policies that will help unleash the creative genius of the American people and get our economy moving again.”
“I am fully committed to defeating Gerry Connolly and sending a loud message to the Washington establishment that voters have had enough of their reckless spending and borrowing,” Fimian said. “This report demonstrates that I have the grassroots support and financial resources to stand toe-to-toe with Gerry Connolly and take this seat back for the people of the 11th District in November.
With 728 donations in 2009, Fimian has more than doubled the numbers of donations from the same point in 2007. At this point in 2007, he had received 287 donations.
“I am particularly thrilled to have so many small donors on our team,” Fimian added. “It further demonstrates my grassroots support and that voters are fed-up with liberal Gerry Connolly making decisions out of political self-interest rather than in the best interest of our nation.”
Republican Keith Fimian is running for Congress against Democrat Gerry Connolly in Virginia’s 11th District. Fimian’s platform includes creating jobs, holding the line on taxes and putting the brakes on out-of-control deficit spending in Congress.
