Attorney General Eric Holder and Arizona police Chief’s say AZ immigration law will increase crime

Well, I think the Obama Administration has become further disconnected from reality today. 3 douchbag AZ police chiefs and 7 other douchbag police chiefs, from outside the state of Arizona (who have no say in Arizona law, and I have no idea why they were there, possibly just to add cover for Eric Holder), say AZ’s new anti-illegal immigration law will increase crime. I have never heard of holding somebody breaking the law accountable for breaking said law, increased crime.I also have no clue how enforcing the law would increase crime, but hey, I am not a liberal or somebody from the academic world.

The best and most asinine comment from Eric “I like criminals” Holder’s Meeting was from, Jim Dolan, the police chief from Minneapolis, who said:

“Are you going to call 911 if you know that the officers that come here … are going to ask you for proof of citizenship?”

Well, I guess Jim didn’t read the freaking law either, what an idiot. Unless the person calling 911, is calling on himself, since only people detained for a criminal offense will have to provide proof of citizenship.

  2. I have heard much more folks discussing that the law is Unconstitutional under the Supremacy Clause. The Supremacy Clause forbids state and local laws that contradict federal laws in matters where the federal government has authority to act.
Once again it only applies in situations where the law contradicts the current law. Arizona’s law requires that State/Local authorities hand over suspect illegals to the proper federal authorities. Maybe you have forgetten (since we haven’t enforced these laws) but it is still a crime to enter our country illegally.
But as long as we are talking about Constitutionality let’s talk about the Commerce Clause with the Constitution (Article I, Section 8). This clause prohibits states and localities from passing laws that burden interstate or foreign commerce by, among other things, creating “discriminations favorable or adverse to commerce with specific foreign nations.”
Boycotting Arizona is UNCONSTITUTIONAL so knock it off already. Also to the Arizona government, how about we step up and actually file suit against these cities?
